Default Re: E85 Powered VR4?

I Gots 15 gallons of E85 sitting out in the garage

It smells like sweet corn with a very slight gas smell.

Let the testing begin. I should have some hard data this weekend. Will be doing 110 runs since that is what is in the tank, and then E85 runs.

Will be logging Boost so I will be gathering good spoolup data.

I tested the E85 I picked up and it passes the ethanol/gas hydrocarbon mixture test with flying colors. Man does it....

Don't know how much sleep I will get tonight. I have been waiting to do this for some time.

An AFPR can give you a little more headroom, but it is not a fix for fuel cut. If you are on the edge now, bumping up the base fuel pressure can give you a little more injector as long as your bump can keep up. When are you hitting fuel cut, and what are your IDC's looking like?

at 16 psi I'm seeing ~160% IDC... and fuel cut at ~4000 rpm.

You need bigger injectors, an AFPR can adjust for maybe 10% but sure as hell not 60%! haha.

I just thought that if you get an afpr, those 560cc will flow around 600cc and that should be enough for 15 psi.
