dont buy a NEO yet

as for switching youre going to need an upgraded fuel pump and 450s to safely run E85

Well, I was going to start the E-85 testing/changeover this weekend but I went to the BRG instead. I may get to it this coming weekend.

Hey guys.

I want to run e85.

I have:

walbro 255 pump
780cc injectors
fuel pressure regulator
stock ecu
pro-m

can the stock ecu handle the 780cc injectors? e85 uses 30% more fuel, so will this be a problem?

I dont see the injectors being 780cc being a problem, I do see you only list one walbro. 780cc injectors are going to require at least a 300lph fuel fump at what ever psi of boost you plan on running. I plan on running dual walbros and true dual -6an feed lines w/ 880cc injectors.

.780 *6 * 60 =280.8 lph at 100% IDC. A single walbro will only flow ~250 lph at 65psi. You may want to look into running one in tank and one inline. I know IPO did this on his daily driver build, and that configuration would be plenty for you.

If your wideband doesn't have a setting for ethanol, you just want to tune for the same A/F ration as gas. All of them go off the lambda scale, so it will not matter.

Edit: Here is a link that may help you understand a little better.

again, was going to switch to E85 this weekend, even got all the dual pump dual feed -8 feed fuel parts ready to install. Now a broken tow has hindered moving forward. Maybe next weekend. I will have back to back results once I get to it.
