reason why I'm asking is, with 93 (pump gas) you getting know at 17-18 psi (thats what I heard). and with race gas you're not suppose to get any with 30psi or so. but e85 is ~105 oct. so just wondering if anybody had problem with 25+ psi.

There are Evo's up here in the Denver area running 30psi+ on E85. Even though E85 is only about 105 octane it acts more like 114+. This is due to the extra energy of burning 20-30% more fuel. I am only up to 20psi so far but will be turning it up to 25-26psi within the next month or so.

You still have to remember 9b's fall flat on there face after 5k rpm's and anything over ~15psi is just going to blow hot air and offer no performance increase.

I have read every post. It took a few days of free time, but I did it.
I want to make sure I have this right.
To upgrade my car to be able to run on E-85 all I have to is:
Upgrade my Fuel Injectors and Fuel Pump and get an A/F Gage or AFC (not sure exactly what that stands for).

My Fuel injectors already have been upgraded to 450cc form a Talon
So from what I have read I need a bigger Fuel Pump and a A/F gage.

The one other question I have is about the gas lines. I had heard that you had to replace them because the e-85 would eat away at the rubber and it could break or a piece could get caught in the fuel injectors. From what I have read that is not a issue with our cars. I just want to make sure that is correct.

So if all I need is a bigger flow fuel pump and a AFC what is a AFC?

Thanks,
Nick

AFC is Air Fuel Controller. WHat do you have controlling the DMS 450's now? You will need a wideband O2 gauge and sensor to monitor your air to fuel ratio. Stock lines should be ok, but you will need to change out your fuel filter a few times since ethanol cleans rather well and will likely dirty your fuel filter rather quickly at first.

I don't have anything right now. I helped my buddy install the 450cc's when he had a problem with his stock injectors. I bought the car from him a few months later and have never got around to getting a AFC. I knew I needed a new computer but I had some other mechanical issues that I was working on and that just never made the list.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good AFC, Fuel pump, wideband O2 gauge and sensor that wont break the bank?

I am somewhat of a car guy. I can do all the basic stuff like breaks, gas tanks, some body work but this my first performance car. I am still learning about all the mods and how they work.

So you are running 450 injectors and no AFC?? You need to stop driving the car if this is the case until you can get one installed. Change your oil asap as well. You are running insanely rich and I am surprised you have not spun a bearing or thrashed your engine already. If i misread your post and your are not, then ignore me . I would look into either a SAFC2, MAPECU, Greddy Emanage, or the MAF Translator PRO. SAFC2 being the simplest of all of them. A single hotwired walbro will be plenty big to supply enough fuel to those injectors. I assume you are staying with 9b's?
