Default Re: E85 Powered VR4?

ok, so if 450cc on E85 = 360cc on 93. than I'll get 550cc.

I think that will be plenty for 15 psi for now.

plus...you dont run E85 to save fuel. thats a common misconseption. as keith said....you run it to take advantage of the octane.

these standard E85 cars out there are a cruel joke on the owners. those of us with the ability to tune in the extra fuel and timing to take advantage of it....no joke.
Understood and on our pre-2000 model year cars that aren't flex fuel designed, we don't have stainless steel fuel lines or a lined fuel tank or chromed or stainless fuel rail. I always thought that any CH3OH or other alcohol based fuels were corrosive to aluminum, plain steel and to the seals in the fuel contact areas?
I believe that only , is it Buna type seals? are the type that are safe for alcohol based fuels and I am not sure what Mitsu uses in the factory for our cars. Viton seals aren't as resistant.

BTW, found the VIN on the Flex fuel truck:
1FTPX14V 0 (0 is a number) 6FB37113

another question...

can I possibly make 360cc flow more at low rpms (up to 3500) with safc. like 20% more or so?

Yup, but you end up with your timing curve all messed up due to the stock ECU thinking you are at a much higher load than you really are... it pulls out a lot of timing if you do it that way.

Sure, buy a FPR and turn up the fuel preasure... Not the most elegant solution out there but it would work reasonably well... I'd still recommend some Denso 560's out of an Evo and a decent fuel/timing controller like the EMU. You might was well do it right the first time.

for exclusive e85 use youre going to want either 560s+afpr with the pressure bumped or 720s.

Damn, 720cc? You skipped 680cc..hhehehe.

The FPR must be bumped up quite a bit to get the 560cc to flow around 720cc, eh?
