To set my fuel pressure, I did some calculation based on using a 50 / 50 mix of 93 octane and E-85. For 100% E-85 you would need around 30% more fuel, so for a 50 / 50 mix you would need around 15% increased fuel. I used a fuel flow calculator to determine that an increase to 55 psi base fuel pressure would give me around the fuel flow needed, with any other adjustments made by the ECU. Since I don't have the fuel pump hot wired, it will only push around 50 psi at idle on the low voltage feed. I turned the screw in a couple more turns after pressure stopped rising and called it "good enough" .

Cone filter, fuel pump, fuel system from 3sx, EVO IX BOV, MBC, Y pipe, down pipe, test pipe, IPS mid pipe with 3" electric cutout valve, and gutted rear pre-cat. Forgot to mention drivetrain mods, clutch, flywheel and one piece CFDS.

this sounds cool.
anyone see any problem using a meth injection with E85?

so far the pros and cons of E85 are....

Pros
Higher octane means more power by allowing more boost/timing

Cons
have to get aftermarket fuel pump, injectors, and fuel controller
lower gas milage (should cost about the same but less miles per tank)
can be hard to find
the % mixture might not be constant at the pump causing unpredictable tunes

I dont know, I might have to drive around town to see just how many gas stations carry E85.

If you are running straight E85 there really is no need to add meth injection.

just 4 everybodys information:

I did hit fuel cut on high rpms in e85 with WOT 5500-7000 rpms. its really sucks up there but otherwise it just like on normal gas.

Yeah, stock fuel injectors aren't going to cut it with E85 due to how much additional fuel you need. The stock injectors are marginal on a standard BPU setup, and worse when you tell the ECU you want even more fuel. 550cc injectors are probably the best match if you don't intend to go too crazy with the boost, or aren't upgrading turbos.
