broke joke

I was doing some research on hydrogen injection and came across a possible solution to hydrogen embrittlement. Apparently, when Hydrogen is mixed with CNG or Propane, Hydrogen embrittlement is nil. CNG (compressed natural gas) first struck me as a huge possibility because of its cost and convenience. "I can fill up at home and its way cheaper than petrol?"
Here's a few site's that i came across: general info: NGV FAQ Compressed natural gas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://www.conoflow.com/pdf/products/hpngv1-4_rev3.pdf HCNG: http://www.metro.net/projects_progra...TECHNOLOGY.pdf Refueling: FuelMaker Corporation - World Leader in Convenient On-Site Refueling Systems I called up a local dealer and he quoted me $4250 for a Phill 1/2gpm unit, i called up a dealer closer to Canada and he quoted $4000 for the same Phill. Q-2 units are rated at 1gpm and sell for $10k. I have seen used units on e-bay sell for $3000(not including shipping or duty's) One of the dealers told me that they are working w/ a new company(in USA not Canada) that would sell new 2gpm/3600psi units for $3500 and they would be available may of 09'. I would think there is a kickback or tax break for doing this; that might help offset the price for some. Ideally i want a 3600psi six injector w/ standalone setup for dual fuel, but i will probably take baby steps. I will update this thread as i get more info/progress. Zak ![]()
