the AEM gauge type wide band has a configurable output. it has the option to be setup as 0-1v vs the normal 0-5v "wideband" output. Has anyone used thos option to connect to the OEM o2 input at the ECU?
might this cause some sort of ECU code or heater circuit problem??
i plan on trying this. can i split the outpt wire into two for use with each of the OEM ECU o2 inputs?
Yes you can do that. I know with my zeitronix, you can do the same thing. I could also set a scale that lies to the ecu, So it will say that say 15.5 = 14.7 so that while idleing and crusing under low load in open loop o2 polling mode you could save fuel. This can be used badly though. If you did it wrong you could run way to lean and bow stuff up. I have yet to test the accuracy of the device. Once i get my new datalogger (Evoscan) i might test the voltage between stock o2 sensors and narrowband simulation from the wideband.
