Since I haven't seen anyone confirm them, I will confirm that Volk TE37 18x9.5 +35mm WILL fit a stock 2G VR4. 265/35/18 tires no problem. 275/35/18's should be usable as long as the section width is 10.9" or less.
These wheels fit without spacers and clearance from the stock 2g TT brakes is huge. From the stock 17" chromies, there's maybe a 3mm gap, from the TE37's it's about 20mm. Clearance from the stock suspension to the rim edge of these wheels feels like it's 1-2mm MORE than clearance from the stock suspension to the rim edge of the stock 17" chromies. Didn't really measure this, I just felt how far the rim edge was from the strut with my finger and compared how much space there was after taking off the stockers and putting on the TE37's. That said, they DO obviously stick out more than stock, but it's not bad. Nothing a little added negative camber can't take care of. Saleen replicas stick out about 5mm more than these. Max

Axis Hiro 18x8.5 (offset 35) will fit and clear Gen1 Calipers by 1/4" without spacers and sit flush against the fenders.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I took another picture to give you an idea of what kind of clearance is available. As you see, the further away from the center of the hub the caliper is, the more clearance is available. With the larger diameter rotors of the later Gen VR4's, the caliper is placed further from center. The further away, the more clearance allowed. At the closest point, there's must a shade over 1/4" available. ![]() Joel, CA
