what tires to buy?

i was running on fuzion zri tires 225/55/16 but after a few times in the waterbox @ the strip they got maybe a 16th inch of tread left... any ideas on a good street/strip tire?

NITTO 555 they are some damn nice tires. I have been told by a guy with a vette that there not to bad at the strip to.

Goodyear Eagle F1's FTW!
a bit pricey..but they are IMO the best tires on the road. I've had mine on the car for about 2 years now and they show hardly any major wear.

i was thinking about the nitto 555r.. dot approved street/strip tire.. anyone on here use these? looking for great traction

I own the Fuzion ZRi's right now, But I had the 555's before the fuzions. I personaly thought they were great. Really really good dry traction, Just dont look for traction in wet weather cause it wont happen. Once my Fuzions are used up ill be going back to the NITTO 555's.

the fuzions zri are a decent tire but wet traction and snow sucks in em but for 400 mounted/balanced cant complain too much. this is the 2nd yr on these tires.. 1 year street 1 year street/strip ive heard alot of good stuff about nittos maybe ill give em a try

I have Nitto 555 "Z rated" on 20" rims... got them used but with plenty thread left so far so good!!!
