Ive got Proxes on one stealth and nittos on the other. They both do a great job on the road, but the nittos dont seem to wear on the edges like the proxes do. My proxes ride a little harder and have actually gotten me better gas mileage, but they dont feel like they grip as well as the nittos. My proxes have lasted a long time and show very little signs of wear (except for the corners, but i was abusive).

either one is a good choice.

Hope my corners fair better, i tend to abuse the sidewalls and corners myself, since i rarely slow down enough for turns. My stealth still has new 555 nittos on it, the proxes will have to do i guess, yes they are directional, as seen in the first tire pic in post 1. I was kind of hoping they had had the tread pattern of the T1R, which is very similar to the F1 goodyears.

Since i usually leave the traction control button in the default on position, i rarely spend much time spinning tires, really only do it when i'm trying to do it, maybe i'll do a proper burnout someday... still don't have much rubber in the inner fenderwells to speak of.

If you are going to be doing burn outs then i would go nitto because they wear a little less and seem to have a deeper tread.
