I had BFG g-force T/A KDW before the NT555s and LOVED them, but they only lasted 1 summer and cost $100 more than the NT555. The NT555s may not have been as nice but lasted 3 times longer. Is the KDW 2 a different tire?

yes the KDW is a different tire from the KDW 2 and if you have the extra money get the Dunlop SP Sport 9000.
