I have Michelin pilot sport ps2's on my VR4. Low road noise, good with cornering, etc. Discount tire has them for a good price too

i had the bridgestone s02's and s03's and didn't like them at all.. s02's were way better than the s03's.. just too loud and grip was ok. also had potenza RE-01R's and those were great, just a little pricey. running falken rt-615's now.. I don't need grip for the rain in cali haha. i like them WAY better and grip is insanely better (than the s02's and s03's).. I will most likely be buying them again because they handle like the RE-01R's and are way cheaper.

I am kinda leaning towards the perelli's now. A couple of ppl have said that the bridgestones are loud so I think I will stay away.

Thanks guys

I would stay away from Pirelli's maybe it was just my set but 3 out of the 4 had tire buldges. I had pirelli p6 all season tires. They are very quite tires and got good traction in the snow but they had plenty of tread left when I had to get rid of them because the sidewalls were all shot and buldging. Right now I have Kumho Ecsta all seasons and they are very quite also. I did have them on for about 2 hours before I had my alignment appointment and they were very noisy then but after the alignment they are very quite. Hope it helps you make your decision.

I've had good luck with Dunlop SP Sport 9000 and BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2. I think i still like the Dunlop a little better but for the price the KDW2 is a good buy. Stay away from the Nitto 555, to me that was the worst set I've put on my car so far.

I love my Pirelli P Zero Nero M + S's. I used them on my base model as well as my current VR4. The grip very well wet or dry and last a good while. Plus they're quiet. Only time Ive actually heard them is on one stretch of highway around here. But I definetly recommend them.

The P6's are completely different then the Pzero's but I am glad someone chimed in with a set on their vr-4.

Really? Yikes.

I had BFG g-force T/A KDW before the NT555s and LOVED them, but they only lasted 1 summer and cost $100 more than the NT555. The NT555s may not have been as nice but lasted 3 times longer. Is the KDW 2 a different tire?

I've never been a fan of the nitto tires, Yes they do last longer, but your sacrificing grip to have more tread life.

Tires are always a sacrifice, so you have to choose what is best for you.

Personally if I drove less I would choose some sticky as hell street tires and could care less about the noise, but Since I drive 20k miles a year, changing them every 12-15 months sucks.

I agree, the dunlop SP Sport 9000s were by far the best tires I've ever had.
