Tien Spring prices - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

Any one know why the there is such a big price difference from 3sx($325) compared to Ips($265)?

Picking up a set soon along with adjustable control arms. Thanks- J

3sx is generally more expensive for the same parts...

i went with ebay on teins with my SL, i payed 180 plus shipping. They are always on there. I think its no contest.

Wow, Tein S Springs took a hefty price jump with their last shipment to the US. What was $175 (erz performance) $195 (Maximal) at the end of March, is now 262.50 and 250 respectively.

im glad i got mine for 199 when i did.

gotta love the economy these days.

no mean to hijack. as far as prices, 3sx sucks. but sometimes they have parts you cant find anywhere else brand new. and they seem to have great customer service and are a good buisness.

Calibornn1979, I asked you in another thread but never heard: the Teins are supposed to be for AWD only, but you've said you put them on your SL. Did/do you have any issues, either with installation or ride quality? What kind of drop did you get? Did you need adjustable control arms to get alignment in spec? More pics of your car would be great! Thanks.

I dont have pics of the SL with the teins, but the drop is the same and i dident have any issues with fitment. i think the only differance you will see is between the ECS and non ECS rear struts. If your car has ECS then you shouldent have a prob. I did not install control arms and the inside wear of the rear tires was minimum. By the time the inside wore out tires needed replacement anyway. i like a little neg camber anyway for tighter turning too.
