Mine are 19's with no problems. The diameter of the wheel/tire combination is close to stock 17". The aspect (width) of the stock tire is 45, and the aspect of the 19" tire is 35, so bigger rim + shorter sidewall = smaller rim + taller sidewall. A 18" rim should take a tire with an aspect of 40, and you'll be fine. Springs drop half off the wheel gap with NO rubbing over bumps that I've found

nawz8r,

Did you install yourself or have a shop do it? How much/hard was it? I plan on doing this same thing in the next month or two (tein s+18's)

As long as you have a spring compressor it will be easy.

Take the struts off, compress the springs, unscrew the top hats, replace the springs, put them back together, and back on the car.

Then of course you will need an alignment.

It will take me just a few hours to do your springs on your car. I just have to rent a spring compressor from advance auto

Installed them myself. There's an Intrax Spring install on Stealth 316.com which is the same. You will probably need adjustable upper control arms for the rear since the stock "fixed" length arms may be too short for camber adjustment after install, however some claim they didn't need them. Mark the eccentric bolt markings on the front struts before removing, and install the same marks aligned. Then, as lawdogg posts, get an alignment. One other thing, the bearing on the top strut mount for the front struts should be in good shape as the strut pivots as the steering is turned - replace the bearing if needed.
