I have an Ultimate Performance solid strut bar which I installed on my 93 VR-4 but now my hood won't close. It's touching on the passenger side by the battery and I can only get it to catch the latch but it won't close all the way.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a secret to get this thing on? It clears everything else alright but closing the hood is kind of important to me. I posted in Ultimate's forum as well but I haven't gotten a response: Front Strut bar on 93 doesn't clear hood

Hmm, are they tightened down all the way, I know Mine flexed quite a bit when I was putting them on (especially the rear) other than that I dont really know, they are pretty simple

I have the same problem with my 93. It hits the support structure of the hood. I don't see a fix for it unless we cut out part of the support or buy a CF or fiberglass hood that has more underhood clearance.
