The price on this is is $560 for 18x7.5. These wheels come in chrome. Are these ok wheels or some cheap BS?

usually people go with a wider rim, not one thats 1 inch narrower, your handling would really suffer.

Remember you get what you pay for. They could be very good, but odds are they won't last as long as higher dollar ones. The chrome will probably pit and flake off, especially if you leave them on in the winter.

I actually used to work for sears. I believe their rims are made by bbs for sears. I sold a lot of rims and I never had any complaints about them.

Other than Craftsman hand tools, Sears generally doesn't make any of thier own products; they just contract them out, therefore, I would belive IdahoStealth; especially since he said he used to work for Sears. I guess the big difference is that if you buy from Sears, you have to say you have Sears rims instead of BBS rims. I don't know how much that means to you but it is a thought.

I am going to find out of their rims are warrantied. If they have warranty for a couple years. I might take them. I cannot spend $1000 on a set of rims.

SSC, Z racing, American Racing, and Motegi chrome wheels are warrantied for 2 years, with some exceptions, machined or polished are warrantied for 1 year.

I work at the Sears auto center in Monroeville, PA, so if you have any questions I can probably help you out, although like everyone else said, you're gonna have some trouble finding 8.5+" wheels, I don't know of any offhand.

Well, the person said that 7.5 would fit my tires 245/40/18. What difference would 8.5 make since my tires are not that wide?
