As far as I know, there are a lot of people running 255/40/18 on their car with no rubbing issues at all... think of all the people running 9" rims with even wider tires. However, I am no sure whether rubbing becomes an issue when the car is lowered, but I am pretty sure there are a good deal of people who have gotten by with it.

no rubbing at all

i believe the only offset that tirerack imports are 45mm for the 18x9 modas, but im not 100% on that. the tires actually have more clearance from the front struts than the 245/45/18 nittos. though i have noticed that my speedo reads a tad slow but, that manages to keep me out of trouble a lil better

but i can feel the weight of the extra rubber. the weight and rolling resistance are very noticable.

Actually the 18x9 Moda R6s are a 38mm offset . Definitely awesome looking rims for the money. Look a little like the 550 Maranello stock rims. Nice rims and nice car ya have there. Take care

Luke
