Alright so I just finished up everything on my car and now the brakes wont work very well. Heres everything I did to the car to fill you in, I did the VR-4 Brake upgrade, changed my flywheel and clutch. I also changed my halfshaft on both driver side and passenger side. I upgraded to brembo drilled rotors all the way around. I also change the gear oil, and brake fluid.
So thats everything I did, I rewired the Power braking system so the check engine light went off. The car runs fine and shifts well and sounds normal, it just wont stop very well at all. I have to pump the brakes several times and even use the ebrake at times to stop the car. I bleed the brakes and clutch and everything is running normal. Ok any ideas on what could be wrong with my car, the pads are all changed and everything should run fine. My guess is the brake master cylinder, but I am not sure. I am not leaking any fluid, any way it could be other things, I am out of ideas? |

I have to agree with 1bad3grs . You still have air in the lines . My question to you is ,do you have speedbleeders or are you trying to do this solo ? With out speedbleeders you cannot possibly pump the pedal and then close the bleed screw without re-intoducing air into the system when you release the pedal unless you have another person helping .

it should be rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, front driver. speedbleeders are nice, but not necessary. just make sure the person that's helping you has the pedal fully pressed when you tighten the bleeder screw. |
