My freind Todd is running the Sumitomo HTRZ2's or w/e. The directional summer ones. They ar very quiet and seem to have plenty of grip for driving on the streets. He doesnt have many miles on them yet though.

He got his for like 450 or so to his door from tire rack.

Oh and that was for 245/40's on stock 18's.

Kuhmo ecsta SPT, they're not terrible expensive and they're damn nice, in my opinion. There's also one brand thats supposed to be good, yet their prices are low. I can't think right now.

Just...don't get nankang, for the love of all things good in this world. Those are absolutely shit, I think they make them from recycled baby diapers.

Continental ContiExtreme Contact = best value for the money

400 tread wear, AA A temp/tread rating

I LOVED the ones on my Celica...they wear slooooowly...do great in the rain. The side wall also seems to be very tough...good protection for wheels.

The Kumhos on my GT are garbage but I got them on this board for $250 with 500 miles on em.....the Contis will be my next tire.

Edge Racing - Tire Details

Check out your options - I'd rather spend an extra $100 or so and get a nicer tire, bear in mind it'll probably be like $40 or so to ship.
