Just recently my front end of my car has been clunking when i go over bumps and i figured it was probably the control arm bushings wearing out. Today i also took my car up past 75 mph for the first time since it began clunking (i go to school in a very small isolated town) and was wondering if that was part of the control arm bushing wear out. If so where can i find new control arm bushings? I checked to see if NAPA could order them and they cant and i have had any luck looking around yet. Is it possible to just replace the bushing or do i need a whole new control arm or could this be any other possible problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated because i want to get this work done before it gets cold out. <-- UP of Michigan = Frigid

Jack the car up, grab the tire at 9 and 3 and try and move it in and out, wiggle it. See if it has any play.
Then Grab the tire at 12 and 6, do the same thing, see if it has any play It shouldn't move AT ALL If it moves on 9 and 3, your tie rod ends are shot 12 and 6 your ball joints are probably shot. I believe 12 and 6 play may also be wheel bearing, not sure on that though. I believe you can get control arm bushings from 3sx.com
