The NA kits come with 328x28mm rotors.

The Turbo kits can be with 332x32mm, 355x32mm, or 355x35mm rotors. Turbo cars are heavier, so bigger is better for road racing and autobahns, but for aggressive street driving and autocross any kit will work just as well as the other one.

So if I want a huge kit, just buy a turbo one? Will it fit correctly?

The turbo kits will only fit turbo knuckles.

Reviving this good thread...

If that statement is true for the street performer, does the 332x32 kit fit the stock wheels for a 1G ?

Yes, they'll fit the stock 17" TT wheels.

Ok thanks, and what do you think about the performance of this smaller model compare to the 355mm/35mm ?

I use to have the Baer Alcon 4 pistons on my DSM and the braking was very exceptionnal (street/track), but on my TT, I found out that the stock braking is not at the level I would like (HPS pads). So I would like to improve it, even if the car is stricky a street car...

It surprises me that the larger Stoptech calipers clear the wheels since even the second gen brakes don't clear.

I went with the 355mm kit since I run roadcourses. I haven't driven a car with the 332mm kit so I can't comment on it directly. The 355mm kit has been great though. Works great on roadcourses. For a street car though, the 332mm kit should be fine.

The added mass of the 355mm kit is for those of us who like tossing around these heavy cars on roadcourses without ever having to worry about babying the brakes. I don't have to bother about coasting before braking. With the kit, it's just full throttle to threshold braking, turn, repeat.

The 2G Sumitomo calipers stick out further than the Stoptech calipers do so the stock 2G's provide less caliper to back of wheel spoke clearance than the Stoptechs do.
