Default help...back rotors having a hrad time spinning.....(3000gt)

driving up my driveway, I have to give it alot of gas because the back wheels are having a hard time spinning. So I had the car lifted, took out the back tires and tried spinning the rotors with my hands. It didnt budge at all. I had to give it alot of force before it could spin. I left the car in neutral and the car didnt roll back at all. My driveway is at a slant.

any ideas?? solutions??

You are sure the Ebrake isnt on?
Now that I got that stupid question out of the way, the ebrake could have seized up.

Ebrake wasnt on either..

the car actually moves but it has a hard time accelerating because of the back wheels. They dont budge until I give it more gas.

Like My92Stealth said your ebrake may be stuck. Is there any sounds coming from the rear? Screeching? Scraping?

I hear nothing at all. Just the engine struggling to get up my driveway.

brake hoses could of swelded up, or pistons in the caliper seized could be other things going on, but weird if both rears are doing it, i would lean on e-brake issues as well.

Pull the calipers off and see if you can move the piston back smoothly.

Drive your car few blocks then brake a little and stop. Feel the heat from brake disks four corners (Don't touch the disks!). If the rear disk(s) was hotter than the other corners, then rear caliper, where the hottest is probably seized.

E-brake can cause similar situation, however, it doesn't generate heat as much as caliper seize. Especially 1G rear caliper is single side piston, which tend to have this issue flequently. I replaced my 1G DSM's rear caliper twice in last three years.

Mine is similar...but it's the driver's side front caliper, it heats up real bad...slowing me down a lot. I just replaced the caliper (as the old one did it before it developed a leak). Any other possible reasons? Im thinking it could be brake lines.. I'm replacing them tommorow, any other ideas?
