Default 275/35/18s on a VR4 need a quick answer

On a local forum a guy is selling his brand new, never mounted Toyo R888s. I have 265/35/18 BFGs on Enikei rims & TEIN coilovers now and they fit nice. (have Cianci widebody front fenders). For the $275 ea price, I'd love to get them if they'll fit with no problems. I plan on doing track days and these are supposed to be a great tire for that.
TIA, John

I went out and checked, the offset is 35mm and the width is 8.5".

What is the offset of your rims?

I know they fit fine with stock struts, and they *should* fit with tiens, but that mostly depends on your hub's eccentrics adjustment. the farther out that adjustment, the more room you have.

i have 275/35 18's on my 10" volks. they fit fine. you'd actually be running the correct tire diameter with them. you should have at least 9.5' rims. 9's may work...but 9.5's are the best.

Several different sources told me that they would work, so I got them before someone else did. $1100 plus $50 in gas to get them, not a bad deal.
