Default Re: 275/30 R19 all around?

I ran a 9.5" wide wheel with +35mm of offset and it definately stuck out farther than stock, 285 tire sat directly under the fender lip instead of inside it like stock. Didn't look bad or anything tho. It isn't just the offset, the problem is finding a wheel with the right offset that has spokes that don't rub the brakes. So when you're looking at wheels that don't list fitment for our car, its trial and error.

thanks for that advice... hmm maybe a 19x9 +45 with a 265/35 or 265/30 will be a better option? as i got big brakes to clear

Im guessing due to the bakes its best to get as close to stock offset as possible? as a +38 offset might hit the calipers?

trying to make sense of this, im not a expert but according to the tyre calculators.
the stock tyre been a 245/40/18 compared to the 275/30/19 is actually bigger in diameter and circumference.....

Differences between Wheel/Tyre 1(245/40/18) & 2 (275/30/19)
Rolling Radius -2.8mm
Circumference -17.59mm
Diameter -5.6mm

275 comes out smaller overal in the above 3 areas, thats what is confusing me....anything im missing?

You're obsessed with circumference, which is ultimately irrelevant unless having a speedo off a miniscule percentage is a dealbreaker for you.

You should be concerned with getting a low-enough offset that your new, wider wheels and tires won't rub against the strut body. If you buy wider wheels but keep the same positive offset, the inner lip of your wheel will rest closer to the strut. Go too wide with the same offset and your wheel will hit the strut.

A lower positive offset moves the wheel farther outboard relative to the strut. That's why you see people going from 8.5 +46 to 9.0 +38 or +40, or to 9.5 +35.

so is it correct to say that, since the circumference is smaller then the stock tyres i do not have to worry about height....the only thing i have to check is the width? to make sure its not going to hit the strut, which can be seen by doing a test fit with the wheel only? Is this correct?

Yes, you can test fit the wheel without the tire to make sure it clears the brakes and get an idea of how that offset looks.

Yes, 275/30/19 is less diamater/circumf than 245/40/18. Try 285/30/19 or 275/40/17 and those'll be closer to stock.
