I do not care to try and run 11's or race every car that pulls up next to me anymore (guess I am getting old ). So for that reason, I like the looks of 19's on our cars even if they are heavier. To each his own.

stick with eighteens, or go with nineteens if you must... but, i think the only nineteens i'd get would be the gewalts, or the axis something or others. (as for now at least)...
but yeah, you generally lose performance as you move on up from seventeens and eighteens..
17x9s here...why go taller when you can go wider? 18s are ok, but 19s and 20s are donk territory.
Why not have both? I am running 19x9 on all 4 corners with 275 series tires no problem. Also, to say 19's are donk territory is absurd. If that was the case, why do all high-end sports cars come with 19's such as Porsche, Ferrari, etc. Guess they are jumping on the donk bandwagon

depends on the rim... there are very few rims that pull off 19 well.

Definition taken from Urban Dictionary:
A Donk is a 71-76 chevy Impala or Caprice. That sits on 22 to 26 inch rims the higher the better
I am not arguing the personal taste of the wheel/car. I am saying to classify a 19" rim as a donk is an ingnorant statement. Like I said, to each his own.

Guess my sarcasm didn't carry over ...but IMHO 19s or 20s leave too little sidewall to look right on our cars...
