Yeah that's cracking it. I thought you were referring to legit key, or a extended trial version. Now your obviously not in to cracking it, but I'd like to point this out for future readers of this thread. If you plan on cracking PS, and you haven't taken the time to learn the comparable open source software. Then your probable not qualified to use photoshop, and saying that it's fround upon is a understatement.
gimp is the linux version of photoshop, which means its free coding. or at least it was. it should be exactally the same as ps. but i donno
No, GIMP is not PS4Linux. It is an entirely different program, written from the ground up. It is released under the GPL license, which makes it free but does come with obligations you must adhere to (if you respect licenses at all, which some here apparently don't. Not directed at you, figi3k.)
Well you have to think about who does the majority of PS hacking. Most of the time it's because of a person who tired the software out when they were in high school, and thinks that they can't afford cost. Which hasn't taken the time to see if they can find the software at a discounted price, or if there's a comparable open source software. Also they often lack the knowledge of why they have to purchase the software, and lack the appropriate credentials to officially practice a specified skill. Thus making them unqualified.
