Default Thinking of bringing a Stealth TT to Europe

Hello all,

My brother is a USAF pilot, and will be stationed in Belguim next spring. Rather than have the USAF ship his Accord over there, he was thinking of taking my Pearl Yellow Stealth RT/TT over there, if I pick up a VR-4 Spyder here.

He will be in Belguim (and then in Germany) about 18 months.

He wants to return with a new BMW....so that's that.

My questions are:

1) What kind of places know how to work on these cars over there? Are there Mitsubishi dealers, speed shops, or 3si members only?

2) Is there a market (after 6 months or so) for a '94 Pearl Yellow Stealth RT/TT ?

3) Will he be "the only guy" with one of these cars, or are there a lot of them in Belguim (and Stuttgart)?

Thanks for any input...he ships out to you guys in March of 2007.

-Pete

I only saw one Stealth in Germany when I was there and it was one a german friend of mine bought off of a soldier before he left. It had a busted tranny and my friend just wanted everything else. Never know though. The germans loved my black V6 Firebird I had over there and wanted to buy it. Knight Rider and all. Good luck.

Yeah there are a few of us over here. No he want be the only one with one...Keep in mind who ever buys it generally has to pay the VAT tax...which can be costly. I don't know of many people who have made much money on them re-selling to locals.

The 3si in gererally quite a bit more expensive over here in Europe, but problem is that people may not know what the Stealth is so it might be a bit hard to sell. I have once in a while seen a Stealth on www.mobile.de or www.autoscout24.de

Roger Gerl is in Switzerland, and definitely knows a lot about these cars in case the Stealth needs service.

R1driver in Holland has a 2000 VR4 but complaints non stop about the prices at the mitsu dealership, it sounds even worse then the stealerships here in the us. plus it sounds they never get it fixed right.
