Earlier in the week I unbolted the downpipe (just cause) and put it back on. Today I went out for a drive, and when I got back I popped the hood and found some white smoke coming out from it looked like between the downpipe and header and it smelled like something was burning. Anybody experience something similar or know what it is?
Did you check the gasket between the Header and the DP and did you use a alittle RTV? and why did you take off the DP anyway "just cause" isnt really a good reason to take off your DP
The gasket is on there fine... I took it off just to look inside. This is going to make me sound like an idiot, but I was going to gut the pre cats, but when I disconnected it, I found that I don't have pre cats.
Hey nothing wrong with it, the only way i learned is because i tore shit apart and learned how it worked and put it back together. Dont be afraid to explore but make sure you have a manual or some good tech ppl helpin you out.
