mine was a sohc. during installation you would need to remove the rear motor mount, unmount the alterantor and just move it over, and bend the oil dipstick out of your way. as far as issues, the only problem that i had was the donut gasket they give you for where the front bank and rear bank bolt together wasnt quite big enough. but i just went to napa and bought a smaller one and double gasketed it, and fixed the leak.
Details? Do they blow so bad that 3sx are twice as good? Cuz 3sx are twice as much. I heard about poor fit but I can deal with that. They look similar in design.
They are terrible. The fitment is hit or miss and they will crack in no time. 3sx headers are more than worth the money the performance increase is very noticable plus their quality is WAY better than obx.
i didnt wanna hear it when it was told to me but... let me save you the hassle.............a wise man once said. STOP BUYING SHIT FOR YOUR CAR ON EBAY....
imo go with 3sx.. otherwise be prepared to deal with the hassle and or poor quality product
yeah im probably gonna go with the 3sx ones, theyre actually cheaper than the custom ones i was gonna have done ($1G!!!!)
but the 3sx ones are down to $500
so they arent too heavy on the wallet anymore
The 3SX headers are not super high quality. I can't imagine the ebay ones being that much different...
