Ideal bottle pressure is 900psi...anything off of that and the shot falls off from the jetting. Bottle heaters have a thermostat to keep the bottle right around there. I know mine does a pretty good job keeping it between 850-950.

Yeah but I was wondering how long it takes for those bottle warmers to actually warm up the bottle, considering if it is 40 degrees out.

I understand I'm losing so much power with my bottle being cold, but I was just worried that the bottle might end up getting to much heat, but I hear Zex has a great bottle warmer, as does NX.

Oh and I can def. say my car does not run lean, if anything it runs rich as all hell, but then again I did upgrade to the 190lph fuel pump for the VR4, but you are right, I might as well be safe then sorry.

I'm just dying to get my car to the tracks so I can see what it does 1/4 wise with the 100shot put in with the correct pressure. I'm hoping for mid 14's, then after that possibly I might get forged pistons to really start spraying higher, which will then mean most like direct port because I don't trust my zex wet kit to output a 150 shot, maximal performance from what I've reaserched has a really good price on a good direct port system...

the nx kit will not turn the heater on if the pressure is at a certian point, also can can purge if pressure gets into the red on the gague.

Good info, yeah I need to start shopping around for some good deals on nitrous accessories, I think some of them are way over priced, I've seen bottle warmers and purge kits being sold for $300 individually.

Just for an FYI purging doesn't really releave pressure in the bottle. Unless the tank is empty and you purge it for a very long time you're never going to get all the air out of it (which is where the pressure is from).

I built a bracket (basically just a 90* bend in the bracket that came with the kit) and hooked it onto a bolt for the TB.

Okay so not to jack the thread but it seems I need advice from the N20 guys. Im putting a 50 shot dry on my 94 NA. What would need to be upgraded to run it safley as the car is a dd. I am aware of window switches and cut off switches but would I need colder plugs, fuel pump etc??

Copper plugs and maybe a TT fuel pump...shouldn't need one for a 50 shot though.

Im running a 50 shot on an all stock engine with the stock NA fuel pump. The dryshot kit has a little valve that bumps fuel pressure up while your spraying.

A 50 shot is basically harmless. What i would recommend doing is checking the engines compression, and also run 93 octane fuel only. Also make sure you have a good clutch.

Remember to only spray at WOT and above 3000 rpms also do not hit the limiter while your spraying.

A 50 shot is a good shot to start with to get introduced into the N20 world, it doesnt make a huge difference but u can definately feel the power.

Later u can upgrade to a 75 wet shot.
