Well once again I am amazed at this forum and comradery or however the hell you spell that word, lol. And again this site and its members are helping me to achieve one my of my New Years resolutions, becoming a 3S wizard. I didn't get a chace to go through all of the pages, because its late and I got to work in 6 hours, but what I read I didn't see any mention of a TT ECU, I am doing a TT conversion in my 94 3000gt this month, beginning of Februrary and want to make sure I get all of the right parts ordered and in on time to get it done by mid next month. Can I use the ECU in my base or will I need a TT ECU? I know this post is old and all, so has anything changed, new problems come up, or anything else that a "newcomer" to the 3S world should know about? I have lots of questions and i'm sure that when I get to read more and take the time to go to more of the links that everyone has posted I will get ALOT of my answers, but as of tonight, I only have 2 questions. Another thing is I was told that I needed to get a VR4 engine, is this true? Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Justin

I've heard the ATX can be a lot of fun when it's beefed up with a tranny cooler and a high-stall TC. I even read about a particular member that had hers converted to a "manumatic" push-button shift configuration. Sounds pretty badazz.

hey ice man!! i have just orderd a JDM rear subframe and im going to be doing the conversion soon, i probably wont have access to a vr4 body to get those front studmount/panels (the spot welded ones) so i was wondering if you think it would be safe to just mount it to the rear studs like you did but the "fab" some front studs and mounting plates to distribute the load a little better? i have custom built an entire tubular frame for a 55 ford before and i think this should be WAYYYYY less complicated than that was lol.. what u think?
