Prototyping Policy

Due to an increase in demand RIPP Modifications will begin the Prototyping Phase for a new Supercharged Drive System for the Mitsubishi 3000GT DOHC. The Prototyping Phase will require ten research investors who are willing to provide a deposit in advance. The project will also require a proto-typer whose car will be required for the design of the supercharger kit. Combined these will provide the resources needed to produce a kit for the V6 DOHC. RIPP has proven with the 4G64 and 6G72 kits to create a reliable and powerful supercharger kit. RIPP is now prepared to enter the design phase once again to provide a deluxe kit that the public desperately wants and needs.

A one thousand dollar ($1000.00) deposit is required from ten research investors to start the SDS Prototyping phase (prototyping generally costs between eight and fifteen thousand dollars). RIPP will require one person to provide his/her car to RIPP Modifications for testing and prototyping. He/she must reside in a 30-40mile radius of our facility and have the flexibility to leave his/her car with us for 30-90 days so that RIPP can design and precisely tune this kit. The proto-typer will be entitled to free installation of the kit as well as unlimited future upgrades and tuning to that specific kit.

We are currently approximating a base retail price of $3563.05. However, a pre-production sale price of $3028.58 will be extended the first ten (10) who provide a one thousand dollar deposit to help fund the Prototyping Project. This price is an approximation of the retail price of the kit.

Additional cost for the induction of additional upgrades such as e.g. larger injectors/black box will affect the price accordingly. A forum will be started listing the first 10 available spots. At that time RIPP will be accepting deposits. When 10 one thousand dollar deposits are collected we will begin prototyping the V6 Mitsubishi 3000GT SDS Kit.
CANCELLATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. All deposits are non refundable. Ten kits will be made for those who left deposits. When those kits are completed the full balance must be paid (for the product and installation) in full before the kit can be installed. If the balance is not paid immediately in full, the research investor may sell his/her place at his/her own discretion. This must be done within 72 hours or the pre-production sale price and the deposit will be lost. Orders are considered final upon placement.

*Any situations out of the control of Performance Center Wholesale (weather, earthquakes, carrier loss, changing your mind, change of address, customers moving, delivery truck crashing, your significant other opening the package or finding your credit card bill, etc.), shall not subject orders to cancellation or return.

I will be purchasing one of these supercharger kits when they are compleated, and I have the funds, give me 2 years so I can have a real job and stop waiting tables

Geeeee.....sweet new years gift ripp. Darn, looks like I am out of that 40 mile radius by a lot. I don't have the money for the deposit but to let you know that I will be getting one of you kits down the road if production is completed. I just don't have the money as of know because I just spent a lot of money on other modifications for my car. Man, I can't wait to get a kick ass SC!!!!!! Lets get 10 people!!!!!

Actually having read the post over. It's a one thousand dollar DEPOSIT meaning that the first ten ready to drop 1K on the development and testing of the unit will have a balance of about 2K and change before delivery. The person making out is the person who prototypes the kit because they will get free install.

P.S. Installation isn't included on the total price for the SC kit

I will give this a big "we will see" a SC would be nice but given I am about as far away as you can be from you the 500 in savings isnt gonna do it...I want to see the kit first and full price wont kill me if you hit big numbers with it.

blinkr: It is a $1,000 deposit with an estimated $2028.58 due upon completion of the SDS Kit before delivery. As for free instalation and tuning, that only will be for the project car.
