Ohhhhhhhhh now dat looks PERTY ! *NOTE: I didn't leave it installed with just the 1 SS brake line as shown. In later pics you'll see I did it the right way with the stock metal brake line inbetween.

Rear KSports and Brakes

The sight of my sister and I's handprints as we closed the HOOD signifying what we thought was going to be the end of this saga.... but not. It was still a great moment though. A great moment indeed.

So here's how low the car sits now that its waaaay lower than I want. I'm sure this makes a lot of you drool, but I just can't have it this low.... especially in Southern Louisiana.

So again to recap I have to readjust the shocks/struts for height, get the new-used steering rack in, readjust the base idle setting, and figure out what to do about the brake pedal popping....... and then FINALLY I may get to enjoy my car for a few days before I move and have to leave it sit before I come back to get it 3 weeks later. Ugh.

What do ya'll think of the pics?

Update: I have readjusted my Ksports all the way around. I can just barely get the hydraulic jacks underneath the center of gravity jack mount points now and as long as I can get them under the car I'm ok. Still it seems as though I am probably at least 1 inch lower than I want to be all because I did not want to remove the lower mount lock ring/sleeve from the front struts. I'm told I can remove them with no problem, but I feel all warm and fuzzy with them on especially cause I was told leaving them on helps to eliminate noise when turning (whatever that means). I got the fronts adjusted and then the rears, but the rears ended up being too high in proportion to the fronts so I had to redo the rears 1 more time. If I measure from the cement up to the white part of the car just behind the front wheel its nearly 6" high and the white part just in front of the rear wheel its about 6.5" high approximately. I was told having it about .5" higher in the back was desireable because of how the back end digs on a launch..... but still I don't know how much thats going to matter to me in daily driving. I think I'd prefer my doors shutting by themselves like they used to before I disturbed the balance of the car with all this mess. LOL
