Wow I need to see pics of the car THAT low.

I have no experience with lowering springs, or anything of that nature, so I can't help you here.

OK, Imagine if this whole time we've all be talking that I did not know the physical MAKE-UP (structure) of the lower black locking ring and thought it was just as slim in top to bottom width as the other rings on the shaft? LOL - Look at Jerrgy and I's conversation in AIM just a moment ago. (I will post pics later)

ThinkAbtIt: ok
ThinkAbtIt: here's the lesson for the day
ThinkAbtIt: just got off the phone with them
jerggy13: dont dumb a grand on coilovers if you dont want your car slamed
jerggy13:
ThinkAbtIt: I had not ever clockwised the lower mount up and down the threading
jerggy13: haha
ThinkAbtIt: so
ThinkAbtIt: I never saw that the black locking ring
ThinkAbtIt: is NOT like the other rings on the shaft of the strut
ThinkAbtIt: I was thinking this whole time
ThinkAbtIt: that its fucking like
ThinkAbtIt: 1/4" wide
ThinkAbtIt: just like those other rings
ThinkAbtIt: but the dude (from Ksport) just told me its like a sleeve
ThinkAbtIt: that goes up inside and under the lower mount
jerggy13: yah
ThinkAbtIt: so THAT my friend
ThinkAbtIt: is what I was missing
ThinkAbtIt: big miss too
jerggy13: yah pretty much
jerggy13: i was wondering why you could not raise it
ThinkAbtIt: I was just eager to get them on
ThinkAbtIt: not to experiment with them
jerggy13: its hard to help without being there
ThinkAbtIt: right
ThinkAbtIt: fuck man
ThinkAbtIt: I feel like such a goofball
ThinkAbtIt: lol

Anyway, now I know how to resolve the issue, but may not have time because I'll be out of town till the 26th on vacation. I may not get to ride in my car after all this time until a week from now.

Talking Re: ProwlerGT's 3000GT Revival Thread - Start Up

Hey ya'll ! Missed me? Obviously back now. Car still sitting and I still need to fix the height adjustments. Its been crazy with Christmas and friends visiting since I got back. When I fix the height I plan on adjusting the dampening (ride quality = dampening setting IMO) to the middle of hard and soft and adjusting from there to my flavor. Also THIS TIME I WON'T FORGET TO PUT THE FREAKIN DAMPENING ADJUSTMENT TOOLS IN THE REARS FIRST BEFORE REINSTALLING THEM. I'm thinking I'm going to love the handling and ride. We'll see.

After done I'll post the rest of my pics and add notes.

Question Re: ProwlerGT's 3000GT Revival Thread - Start Up

OK - I'm utterly fed up with this specific issue. I forgot to mention that after all that brake work I did (rebuilt the MC and put on all 4 new calipers and SS lines) after it was all put back on there is still this popping sensation coming from the brake pedal when I press it all the way down. The only things left is the brake booster itself or the brake pedal (adjustment?). What happens is I press downward to stop and it stops, but then after it is stopped I give it a good push (as if I'd be hard braking) and it pops slightly (makes a pop sound) and then goes down just a tad more than where I'd stopped it at initially.

What ya'll think?

Is clint (cbatters) there?
