Undercarriage Cat Exhaust Bracket Damage?
Is the bracket supposed to be bent like that or is that supposed to be LEVEL and FLAT blending with the flat surface of the bottom of the car? A looooooonnnng time ago to avoid a collision with another car and a huge piece of steel in the road I had to jump up onto a concrete (bout 3 inches high I think) median in the road. Perhaps thats when this happened? ![]() |

HAHA very funny, but no it is not supposed to bent like that. I am sure you already knew that. You are lucky you didn't roll it. That takes balls. Sounds like you know how to drive it too. Anyhow, good luck with the resurrection. By the way, I have some new developments on my resurrection project.
Best of luck, FASTERGT |

LOL - Actually I wasn't sure about the bent bracket. Since it wasn't fresh by the time I'd seen it I wasn't sure if it was designed that way or not, but the rubber hanger tipped me off that it was wrong and then I looked up the part in CAPS too and it wasn't bent in the pic so I knew for sure then. I just bent it back with the jaws of life. Someone else in another thread said they removed theirs for weight reduction, but I have found that the bracket does sway the weight of the exhaust setup so I'm leaving it.
Yeah, I know how to drive it alright. hehe - Its my release. I haven't found too many other cars I like that handle like this one does. It was messed up the day I had to jump up on the median. There was just enough space to jump up there and stop immediately otherwise I would've surely ended up facing oncoming traffic. Its funny too because it was one of the very few times I had my whole family in the car (mom, dad, and sis) and that happened. I'll have to check out your thread and see whats going on ! ![]() |

My method for a partial reconditioning of the lower control arms while getting rid of the "squeak" noise that the worn bone dry bushings produce.
Reconditioning Lower Control Arms Prowler Style (IE: No cash man's method) - http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?p=4080833#post4080833 I just did this and we'll see how it sounds after its back on. Status: Wheel wells nearly clean enough to rubberize. Shocks and Struts are OFF as well as the rubber brake lines. EVERYTHING IS READY TO BE PUT BACK ON ! Projects I've decided to put on hold due to limited time before I move to another state: Tranny Cooler install, The Seafoaming Stuff, & Aesthetics. |

Must I use TWO brake lines on each side in the front of my 1995 NA? I have the 3SX ss lines and it just seems like its a lot longer than it needs to be and that I could get away with using 1 of the SS lines instead of both lines with that damn metal line in the middle of it from stock setup. Is there any other issue besides clearance (or perhaps wheel bounce? Is this why I need two lines and not just 1?) that I'm not aware of here?

I'm extremely fucking pissed off. I have EVERYTHING back on the car and the Ksports are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy f'in low. TOO LOW. I followed the damn instructions in the manual and from another person on this forum and the car is now not driveable. I can't even make it out of the driveway without scraping it all up very badly. I was so excited to drive it only to be extremely let down. I have to find out what is wrong. Wrong model of Ksports shipped to me or what? I just don't know. I followed the instructions to the tee and maybe thats my problem.
