from a roll in my 5spd i hung with a 97 ss, he got me by a lil under a car length, except when i was spraying...50shot i was neck and neck for about 2 seconds from a dig he smoked the shit out of me. i've beaten turbo 240sx's,turbo civics, i have beaten chevy cobalt ss's on the track. it all depends on the drivers.

and if sohc's need bolt ons to beat v6 camaro's u need to learn to drive. v6 camaro's are slowwwwwwww. from a roll or a dig.

This is actually not true.
You can tune for more power. Cars (any car) is tuned rich from the factory for safety/reliability. You can tune the fuel curve for more power.

N20, my friend. Best bang for the buck. Snoop around some car forums and try to find a used set up. You can install in a day and have it set up to give you a nice bit of boost.

Oh true, yea sohc's are pretty quick to begin with, i found this out when I raced constantine in my 5spd. I was suprised he even hung with me (in bone stock form), I beat choksaw (on fl3s) really bad in my 5spd, i think an sohc (like constantines) would have destroyed choksaws 94 3kgt dohc.

yeah they can be. im not bashing on the dohcs, but the sohc is a great motor, and it irritates me that no one will make anything for the platform. as many people that ask for parts for the sohc, you figure 3sx or DR would produce some parts for business. but it seems like we will just have to fab up the parts ourselves as always. maybe when people start seeing vids of boosted sohcs running with vr4s they might do something for the platform

THe problem is most SOHC owners, well any 3s owner, are cheap. Most SOHC owners could give a rats ass about performance shit so its of no good for DR or 3sx to put much money into R&D of more products.
