Well I must say this, I never used an after market downpipe but when I was running obx headers, it definately makes a difference and I was running obx headers that are like $350 on ebay. 3sx is a great company but I really would not buy there headers for $700 for that price you could get piece together almost a complete tt conversion. I loved my headers and then I sold them around the time I was selling my 5spd. I will be getting some headers again here before too long. but I need to get things squared away on the car before I concern myself with headers.
And THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK IS A USED NITROUS KIT! Reasons (A) usually find them for around $300 (B) Gains are variable with different jets and nozzles (C) Can safely run around +70hp with no ill effects (on a healthy motor) (D) Generally easy install (E) You can always get your money back from nitrous (F) The power isn't ALWAYS there, so you don't have to worry so much about tickets lol |
