Hey guys. I have been having a problem with my coolant light, wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. Every morning when i head to work, the coolant light comes on when i apply the brakes at the first stop sign i come to. Once i release the brakes it shuts off. After the car is warmed up to half way up the gauge, it wont do it again. Any ideas?

My guess would be you're low on coolant. Braking will slush around the coolant and set off the light and when you take off and stay at a steady speed it will go away. Just add 1/2 gallon of mix to the coolant resevoir... Correct me if i'm wrong, but the coolant level will rise as the engine is warmed up and will not set off the sensor..
