My car's headlights arent working. I noticed this problem yesterday and spent a good part of day trying to figure out what the hell was wrong. I checked the relay, and its fine. I check the fuse box(inside the car) and the headlight lamp fuse was blown. No biggie!, I replaced it, and when I turned on the headlights, I got nothing. a blown fuse. I tried pluging in just one headlight.....still a blown fuse. and Vice-versa. Unpluged the foglights and turned on the headlights, blown fuse. Unpluged the headlights and foglights all together, STILL blown fuse.
when ever i turn on the headlights, a fuse is blown. Either a wire somewhere is touching something, pinched, who knows.....that takes too much time to go through each wire. Does anybody have any ideas to what could be going on? Or how to solve this? tips? suggestions? what? I'm driving blind! Might have to invest in higher waltage foglight bulbs! |

Im not an expert at wiring but I have fixed a lot of electrical problems on my car and following the wires never fails me. Like you said it sounds like something is pinched or else your bulbs arnt plugged in right/all the way. Ive been searching around a couple of service manuals and cant find anything else that would help. Good luck.
