Yes, either bang that dent out or get a new one. Dents in oil pans are one of the biggest causes of spun bearings on these cars... so Ive heard.

that is about the worst dent I have seen.

Pull the pan, beat the dent back out, and reinstall. No point in buying a new one.

If the pickup screen is beat up get one of those too.

Or, blow your motor any day...

with a dent that big you need to check the pickup tube for clearance.

i guess it was that bad but i already got the 3sx on its way and a test pipe also. because by the bolt it was cracking and oil drops barely coming out so no use in fixing it.
anyone here have a pressure gun that i could borrow for when i need to take part of the exhaust out. bye next week????

That sort of damage is exactly the kind described that can put you in the "spun bearing club" There is (or was) a "sticky" in one of these forums about the damage to the oil pickup when this happens that compromises oil flow to the pump.

You can repair the pan, but I think the oil pickup needs to be replaced.

Did you replace the oil pickup too? With that much of a dent, I'd be surprised of the pan didn't make some contact with the pickup.

The pickup was fine, it had a little dentage, but nothing that would cause problems as long as no one else dents the oil pan again : O
