I installed a new alternator and starter in my car with my dad. My dad disconnected the power wire to the alternator before disconnecting the battery making a few sparks.
After the installation: I had -no dome lights until the car was started -no horn at any time -no brake lights unless car was started -no pop up head lights at any time (they stayed down) -climate control resets at 77 degrees every time car is started -no power locks -the door chime sounded very weak I checked the fuses underhood and in the cabin. I could not find any visibly blown fuses. I'm stumped.

Well we changed the alternator and starter. It runs and charges fine.
We checked the fuses below the dash and under the hood and none are visibly blown. I expected the fuses for the pop ups and interior lights to be blown.... they were not. |
