I have a 96 Stealth R/T non turbo 5 speed Cali-spec, that I just bought and the idle goes up and down from about 1200-1600. The car is throwing a check engine code of P0505. I tried swaping out the TPS and no luck. I think the ecu on the car may have been changed by the prior owner. Is there anthing else I can do to fix this or do I need to take it to a mechanic. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I wound think that a Idle Control system malfunction would be the IAC valve, which I swapped out with another car, and it still did not fix it. What other checks can I do to narrow down the problem.
