I currently have intake, big tb, ported plenum, 1" plenum spacers, ported heads, 3" exhaust, and a built trans. I am planning on throwin boost to it in the next couple months, so if all goes well the swap will be outta the question, but if I blow it up I'm definately gonna try it.
Adding back to this thread after a while Picked up a 3.8L non-MIVEC intake manifold. Fucker just bolts on so far its' set me back $18 for the manifold, $20 in new bolts (pos) and It'll be about $100 to get it welded back up as I've chopped it in half and flipped the rear upside down so the TB bolts up in the stock location. Runners are very nice and thick. Hoping to do a quick DIY polishing job on the runners first and I should have a very nice manifold for under $200.
Will keep you guys posted!

We have that harness you are looking for !!!!!!
Yep! The Flashable in my car today uses just such a harness and production started just a few weeks ago. The Flashable we are using is from a montero. Lots of mods have been done to this unit to make it fuction the way we wanted.
Anyways, some of it's features are "CEL flashes" with each count of knock.
2 Stage launch control, Set at 3000 for now and my just be the best part of this entire set up.
I don't have to get off the throttle anymore do to tire spin or hop. The tires are done discussing
traction in less than 6 feet.
No lift shift. THe new set up revs freely to 8000 and have make 8 the new red line. The no lift
sould help me better 1/4 times. Only had 2 oppertunities to reflash during Dyno. That was after 1ST and 2ND pull. Lost a bunch of torque on 2nd pull and not sure what happened. But it dips.
I think I broke the Maft or translater. Not sure yet just want happened. Anyways, this is the final result of jumpping on the Dyno yesterday. You can see the AFR results. Lots of room for more, once I fix what ever broke.
240 HP and 205 TQ. So time for me to make a new intake with Mivac runners for next season, and see if we can't get some better torque numbers then. For now, the car feels really good, and I broke my old record, and the car and motor still in 1 peace.

Although the 6G72 upper will inter change back and forth with the 6G74 to the lower, The lower is way wider and will no way fit the narrow 6G72 block. The 6g74 V is about 2 inches wider at the head location. Heades are much farther apart. The 6g75 is far dufferent.
my brain decided to work today...
I meant that the 74 and 75 lowers are interchangeable?
75 lower goes on the 74 block so you can fit the 75 upper etc?
and Tuffy, buddy your going to cop shit for the rest of your life....you've already gone through hell and come through successful so why let a few words slow you down?

75 lower DOES fit (I have one atm) however because it's a returnless fuel system none of the fuel rails bolt up.
I figured he meant have I fitted a 3.8L, and since this is what the thread is about, i figured well what I'm talking about may not be 100% applicable...
75 upper NON mivec (eg, 380 manifold) Fits no worries though
