Default 6g72 to 6g75?

How close is the 6g75 Mivec engine to the 6g72?

Will the tranny's bolt up?

Mounts?

Anyone know anything on these motors?

6g75 is made to be on passenger side

that would take a lot of fab work, but anything is possible, you would have to use the 4g eclipse tranny

edit

heres a link to a thread in the turbo section about this motor

Best way to make a 6G75
Use a 6G74 block
Use 6G75 pistons and crank.
Bore it out another 2mm to fit said pistons
Bang, there's your 6G75 that bolts in.

An actual 6G75 will not bolt in. I would not bother fucking around, I'd just use the guts of one in our 74.

This is a mod on my 'one day' list!

My motor is also on the passenger side. I am capable of fabbing mounts, intake, manifolds.

Reason behind the question is I can get it almost free with the ecu.

Have you ever looked at the 6G75 intake runners. Damn, that's all I want. Freaken huge velocity stack opening on each runner. Make sense. Pop the hood on a eclipsGT and take a peak. Those runners support 3.8 breathing. Not sure how well a 3.8 style motor would breath with our peuny runners and intakes. Lotsto think about.
You will be choking by mid range with out turbos. Or have to build an intake to support it. But like I said. I just want the intakes for my 3.0 LOL.
