Default 120k problems from Mitsu

well i went and had the 120k service done the stealth today. they finished the work and drove it out of the shop and it was knocking. so i told the jackass to shut the car off. the fuckers drove the car around 3 quarts low on oil. i know when i drop it off to them it wasn't low at all. so i ask the guy for a couple quarts of oil, he said NO. i asked him why he said that they didn't do anything that would leak oil. SO i laughed at his stupid ass and drove over to walmart (not in the stealth) and bought 5 quarts of mobil 1 and came back and added it to the car. started it up still has the knock. I went shit the guy pretty much told me to Fuck off and never come back. when i ask to talk to his manger he some how LEFT for the day. so on my only day off i STILL don't have my car. it is just siting at the stealership that fucked it up. so i might not have the stealth for a couple weeks.
MOTHER FUCKERS i just want to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the whole time the guy talked to me like i din't know what i was talking about. its to loud to be a lifter tick. the only think i can think that it could be is screwed the timing up when they did the service or pulled out a bolt they should have and had oil spill out and didn't do shit about it

so i just need some proof that what they did could have cause the problem with the car.

I would check out a mitsu manual and follow everything that they say the dealership does (is supposed to follow).

Only thing I will take it anywhere for is an alignment now. I am now to the point where I will just come on here and ask if I run into a problem with working on my own car. Tired of the brand new mechanic that "knows" the car and then destroys something and they say nothing they did affects that area.

My last time I ever let a dealership work on my car, they replaced a heater core, they busted my dash apart in my wifes firebird and said they never touch it. Umm, what? It is behind the dash and is not accessable from below and they id not torch cut it out from the bottom either, so they use magic to remove it.

Back to your issue, I would check your local 3S club, I am seeing that not all of them are as close as my local area but you should find someone that knows the car well.
I thought that I saw a true Mitsu mechanic out in the SoCal area, I may be mistaken.

Good luck, hope this does not ruin your week.

The 120K maintenance is supposed to include a new oil pump. I don't see how the oil pump can be changed without losing/changing the oil. Pretty much any general maintenance ought to include an oil change.
Good luck.

yeah...i decided never to take my stealth to the mitsu dealer when their guy that "knows all about the 3/s cars" told me that i could just put the dohc heads on my sohc and it would be the same as if i had a dohc motor....so yeah...i never let anyone except my dad, myself, my friend, and one guy i work with touch my car.
