Default would you worry about this dent?

should of done it.. but i used a jack on my pan.... my jack has a large cradle so it barely pushed up on the pan... you can see the majority of the sump pick up area is as it should be...

Should I try to pull this out or is it ok? Is there any way to pull this out without removing the pan? Its RTV'd up there and i know its gonna be a bitch to get it down lol.

Yes replace that, otherwise spun bearing will be knocking on your door.

that is not a small dent. That is about 90% of the way to the bottom of the pickup at least. There is only about 1/2 inch gap (some places less) between the pan and the pickup.

Either drop the pan and pound it out or go borrow a stud welder and pull it out.

not sure, but unless you throw a rod there's not a point in replacing one.

Beating the dent out is 2 minutes work at most after you get the pan off.

Wow, that is a bad one. You should get that sorted before spending much time behind the wheel.
