Default WoT Problem

Hello everyone, I own a 1994 vr4. I need some help!
Will someone please tell me why your car loses power in wide open throttle?
It seems like there is no power past first gear, car just kinda hesitates! I've replaced plugs and fuel pump, checked timing marks everything is lined up.

i need some help please

I'm assuming you're still running on stock turbos - you really won't get a pull all the way to redline.

130ish is a little low - what were the variances between the individual cylinders? actual numbers?

Are you having hesitation? Or is it just slow to accelerate? Anything out of the ordinary on the logs?

yeah im running stock turbos, all the cylinders read about 145 except cylinders 3 and 5 read about 130... im going to retest them again just to see a change. its wierd b/c first gear is pretty strong but that could be the awd.. but every gear past that just feels slow to accelerate... but just recently when i changed the plugs there is a hesitation in 2ng gear makes a couple poping sounds! im guessing spark blow out....thats why im going to gap the plugs down somemore...

and i dont have a logger... where can i get one? they expensive?

bump... why would car hesitate first couple of pulls and then after its warmed up good, stop popping in high rpm? cant seem to find cause of hesitation, feels like no boost!

Anyone know why when i put a hotwire kit on my stock fuel pump made the car feel 100x faster? Before i was having problems accelerating and would pop under hit throttle... Well i gapped plugs down to stop the popping, but the car was still accellerating slow. Once i put that hotwire kit on the car runs great!
Before hotwire- 14.3@95mph
After hotwire- 13.3@105mph

good to see the hotwire work. i think i will try it. mine only bested a 14.6 at the track. also try setting your plugs to .034 or somewhere close to that. the stock setup should be .044 gap which is also good, but if you run it really hard at that gap setting then they will start to blow out...foul, and just cause you pain. let us know how it goes
