Default What is the 13g horse power record?

I just dynoed my VR4 with 13 G clipped turbos and PTE 550's today at 20PSI. It made 410Hp and 428 Tq and it started me wondering what the 13G record is and how for away am I from it. I ran through the the stock MAS and do not at this time have speed density or my AEM on the car.

Not sure.. but those are some pretty damn impressive #'s.

Was it a Dynojet?
What octane were you on?
What gear?
Could you post a pic of the dyno sheet?
What were you air/fuel numbers looking like?

More info please... but yea- those numbers are really high for a 13G setup. Who knows- maybe you did beat the record?

Mustang Dyno...
We dyno'ed it in 3rd gear...
It was a mix of VPC16 and 93...
Dyno sheet looked pretty good... hehe
I got the air:fuel into the 12's and timing peaked at 29* ... This was a baseline. Only took a few pulls to achieve this after I fixed a few boost leaks.

Impressive car, Lane.

Congrats on the numbers Lane, too bad I was too late to see you run. As far as the record, I'm not sure, but I would bet you're pretty close to it, if not the highest....that I know of anyway.

A lot of cars making 400 AWHP @ 16 psi ... Hmmm ... Well, we only got one pull with boost above 8 psi. So uhhh... I think there was some room for improvement. Lane was in a hurry to leave and his goal was 350 AWHP with 13G's.

I SURE as hell don't know of any 13G cars that made 400 @ 16 psi...

Ed came close, but I think he was at 17psi? I can't remember.

That's exciting that one can make over 400awhp w/ 13G's.. makes me excited to put mine in!! But mine arent clipped and i'll be running 450s... how hard were the 550s working for the 20psi run? I hope I'll see numbers like that sometime soon..

I'm pretty confident that given more time, the car could have put down 400 @ 17 psi, but we kind of ran out of options when the EBC decided to stop functioning properly. hehe ... I think essentially one pull and 410 AWHP is pretty damn good. LOL

Yeah, I agree. Lane's car is sick as hell. Can't wait to see what it'll do with the EMS. He didn't have it on the car today did he? I wasn't there to see it.
