If your boost pressure is reading improperly:

-check your connections, mechanical and electrical

-check your sensor type, should be internal

-check your display units, make sure it's set to psi

Mine was very accurate compard to both a different boost controller and a boost gauge.

I'm 99% sure its my hoses. I'm gonna take another close look tomorrow. (will change my injectors at the same time). and I'm pretty sure i'll be fixed. will see.

oh, I knew it!!!! almost blew up my engine cuz of that.

but anyway, I'll try to program it again. if I'm not getting fuel cut or knock, I'm not pushing 50+psi, thats for sure.

I hooked it up to the hose that goes towards the firewall, is that a good place for it?

edit: ok I think I got it.

my problem was Units. (duhh!!). it was set to PAS (Kpg), instead of PSI. (dumb ass)

any way. my (hopefully) last questions:
can I set my spring pressure lower than 6?
and how exactly do you adjust boost? buy wasted gate or boost settings. I can't get boost setting lower than 10, is it normal? can I possibly run 3psi. just a question.

The hose that comes off the back of the plenum toward the firewall is perfect to t'ing in your boost gauge line for the controller.

You can adjust spring pressure lower if you want, it will slightly increase the time it takes you to build up to your set boost pressure as you take the setting lower and lower. Most people run a low setting though to offset lead in boost spike.

You adjust boost by increasing the axx or bxx setting, so you just simply increase the number for that boost mode. You are actually increasing or decreasing the duty cylce of the solenoid for the boost mode when you adjust that number. So increaseing A10 to A25 is actually increasing the duty cycle of the solenoid from 10% to 25% for boost mode A. Duty cycle range for the controller is 10% to 90%, so your lowest value would be A10 and highest value would be A90.

You cannot run lower boost than wastegate pressure, so nothing less than ~6-7psi. Also this is why as you slowly increase the duty cycle for a specific boost mode you won't see a change in boost pressure until you reach a duty cylcle value large enough to increase boost pressure over wastegate pressure. If I remember right you should start to see an increase in boost pressure somewhere around a setting of 25% duty cycle for stock turbos. But always just start low and slowly increase the duy cylce. I used increments of 5 until I hit about 9psi and then slowed to smaller incremental increases until I found my target boost setting.

I can't get more that 6.5 psi. my duty cycle is 50. waste gate at 7 and still haven't seen 7 psi. what am I doing wrong?

Please make sure that the unit is on. Since it is a gauge it always lights up and displays a reading but you have to tell the unit what mode you want it to run in, A or B. You can adjust the boost settings for both modes all you want with the unit off and you will not see any change in output. The default boost mode for the controller is "off", so you want to make sure you have it set to either A or B.
