Default TruBoost Post-install question.

that thing shows 50psi.

but led lights show only 1/3 or less. so thats around 7-8psi.
what could be wrong? sensor type? what should I set it to?

Pick Sensor 1 --- which measures less than 29 psi

Make sure that the sensor setting for the controller is set to internal(I).

The led's along the perimeter of the gauge have an adjustable scale, so you set the max point. So pick a full scale pressure that is close to your desired boost pressure.

here is a link to the manual for reference:

not funny... well, maybe it is. I want it to read boost correctly . but to be more accurate, its 50+ psi, so I should have like 800awhp.

anyway, I have hose hooked up to the TB on the same vac hose as my bov. or should I use some other hose?

I would recomend using the nipple that comes off the back of the plenum a little behind the throttle body as a source for metering boost. AFA a boost source for the solenoid just use the nipple coming off the y-pipe just infront of the throttle body. If you haven't found it yet, there is a rubber gromet down on the firewall to the right of the brake pedal that is a great spot for running wires and boost lines through the firewall on these cars.

I found the way where to run wires and everything. and solenoid should be hooked up right. its just my boost reading thats off. so I'll try diff nipple.

Are these accurate for a boost gauge as well?

If connected correctly they are as accurate as any other aftermarket boost gauge I have had. Plus they are as good as any boost controller I have had also. The winning plus is they are both and do it well.
